The star of The King’s Speech and Pirates of the Caribbean and some other movies that aren’t as famous but are still pretty good has been able to keep a low profile in Camberwell due to a number of different disguises.
Seen coming out of a Pilates studio wearing leggings, sunglasses and a headband, only the most observant citizens could make out it was Rush in training for his new movie Stranded in Hell co-starring Liam Neeson.
The star’s personal trainer says, “Geoffrey is working on his core strength so he can do all his own scenes. He’s a total professional and realises there are no stunt doubles that can replicate his body shape.”
Stranded in Hell centres around the relationship between two retired detectives sent to a retirement village by their families and join forces to find a wealthy widow abducted during her afternoon nap.
Oscar buzz has already started and the whole of Australia is praying the ageing thespian can knock smarmy Leo DiCaprio off his perch.
