After being rejected by Malcolm Turnbull in his bid to be UN head honcho it was only a matter of time before Kevin Rudd threw his hat in the ring for the Boroondara Council elections. “In all honesty I wasn’t that interested in the UN position. It was just a backup in case I didn’t get the job I was born to do.”

Despite Rudd’s positive take on developments Bill Shorten is furious,”The way Turnbull treated Kevin was a disgrace! He would have been an amazing UN Secretary General and also he would have been out of the country, benefitting everybody.”

Rudd is already bursting with ideas on how to improve the area and because of his exceptional taste he’s concentrating his efforts on Camberwell to make it even better than it already is. “Obviously we need insulation in every house but this time we’ll make sure the installers get proper training, the last time when all those people died was very inconvenient.  I’ve also been taking anger management classes so all of that nonsense in the media about me being a bully, megalomaniac, control freak and vindictive back-stabber is not true. On top of this I’ll make Camberwell Primary start teaching Chinese instead of French so our children are prepared for their future jobs working in factories making Apple computers.”
